Hi every body

I am a Saudi student, graduated from King Saud University in Riyadh, holding a Bachelor’s degree in nursing , with a GPA 3.86/5 (high school GPA 94.45/100).

I was awarded full scholarship from the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education to study master’s degree, Currently, I am in Toronto, Canada, studying English.
However, I am interested in applying for the podiatry program offered by Barry University .
I noticed that I have some subjects are missing from my undergraduate credential.do I need to apply for pre podiatry Bachelor' degree? and is that program cover biology-chemistry-organic chemistry-physics 8 hrs each, that required by Barry university for podiatry medicine master's degree?

furthermore,I was wondering if I would be qualified to enroll for podiatry program? if so, would I be required to attend any preliminary compulsory courses?

I appreciate your time reading my inquiry
Thank you so much,
w2m

Probably the nest advice would be to contact the admissions department at Barry and ask them.

You can also check online and see which prerequisite courses are needed to be eligible to apply. You don't necessarily have to do a whole new Bachelor degree, but can just take the courses you are missing.

As you are a foreigner there are also potentially visa issues you need to find out about, as Visa requirements are different between Canada and the USA. I know, as I am a Canadian citizen and had a bunch of immigration issues while getting to the States to study.
Good Luck!

Not that I'm aware of.

In the USA there is no such degree. In Canada there is only one Podiatry school and its in Quebec. Its given in French mostly and from what I understand the curriculum is not on par with the curriculum in the States, but they do grant a DPM degree.

I really couldn't tell you about Australia. I know there is a Doctorate program there currently.

Also be advised that immigration is very rigid in each of these countries, so being a foreign national may be an issue in Australia and Canada. I know its not much of an issue for school in the States as I went through it there.

Good luck.
