advice for new derm residents

As we approach July 1, I'm starting to get nervous about beginning derm residency. I assume many other interns are as well.

Anyone have advice for new derm residents? Anything you wish you'd known going into PGY2 year? Anything we should be doing to prepare?

I typically don't get anxious but upon arriving for intern orientation, I really did get nervous. I can safely say I had none of that when entering my PGY-2 year, truly a lot of fun!

in terms of reading, i've gotten a list of suggested texts, but what did you guys actually go out and buy? do you have any suggestions for other methods to obtain these texts? what are your thoughts on what's good for our money?
