Looks like the Scholl students really get a leg up on the rest. We get an entire leg at NYCPM too, but laws state that we can't remove these from the cadaver lab...:laugh:

They are put together with nylon that stretches so that you can see the shapes of each joint.

New students should get the one that Sig Savant demonstrates. When I was in school I accidentally ordered the foot that has the muscles labelled and nylon strings and it has been invaluable. It is perfect to study for biomechanics and anatomy. It is much more anatomically correct proportionally and structurally, and the joints are maneuverable...this is very important when studying subtalar joint motion and structure (main joint studied in biomechanics). The whole leg is useful for studying the hip but not as good for the function of the foot. I have both but only use the foot model.
