Does anyone have any experience with any of the California post-bacc schools. I recently graduated with a non-science major and I am interested in going into dentistry. Any feedback would be helpful. I like Scripps and USC, but do not know hard it is to get into them.

Hey Sean Jean, I graduated from UCR with a psychology degree and worked for about a year before I decided to go back to school. After about a year of completing pre-med courses (bio., chem., physics, etc.) I'm now getting ready to take the April MCAT. I did all my post-bac work at Cal State LA. A great option that's very affordable. The faculty, advisors, and staff are all wonderful and seem to really care about the students.
When I was looking into post-bacs I looked into Scripps and their program, if I'm not mistaken, is specifically designed for non-science majors so that might be a good option for you too. I had taken quite a few science courses under my psychology degree and I was considered 'borderline' in that area so I didn't apply there. All in all though, I'm very happy with CSULA. PM me if you have a specific questions 🙂

Good luck
