I was wondering what other people are paying for. Do you pay just this years dues, lifetime membership, buying any frames or keys.

Is this at the national level? All I paid was $30, as requested by the current officers of my school's chapter.

I wondered about this one, too. Most of the people that I've asked either didn't pay anything, or just paid for the first year. The argument is that you would no longer be an "active" member, but it doesn't change the fact that you were elected to the group. Oh, and you will have 4-6 less pieces of clutter in your mailbox yearly. If anyone knows of any additional benefits of maintaining membership, please share.

Pay the $10 for the certificate and then stick it in a drawer until years from now when you may put it on the wall once your an attending.

The extra $$ for the frame, key and membership dues is best spent somewhere else.
