anyone else super scared to get scores tomorrow? i think they'll be released at 630 PST which was when they were released last time...anyone have any info?

General advice.

You need to figure out why you are not scoring well.
Is it a content mastering issue? Where you don't have the content committed to memory?

Is it a nerves issue? Where you seeing questions and getting anxious makes you forget what you've learned and second guess yourself?

Is it an organization or discipline issue? Where you are studying sporadically/frantically with no plan in place or simply not sticking to a study schedule and not putting in enough hours?

Is it a test taking skill issues? Where you read the question and interpret it differently compared to what the test is trying to pull from you?

Hang in there. I know a wonderful person who failed twice. She got the residency of her choice and is thriving now as an attending.

Conversely I probably wouldn't have minded failing part 1 so I wouldn't have to stick with this career. Just thoughts from a burnt out intern.

Don’t listen to this at all. Completely unhelpful.

Take the next few months to figure out why you didn’t pass and come up with a good study plan. Keep working hard. Keep your head up. It’ll make you a better doctor.

I took it in July. It's a first order question exam. You either know it or you don't. Learn the material properly and complete BV.
