away elective at UCSF

Another question guys. Has anyone here done 4th year basic radiology elective at UCSF? If you have taken it, can you please comment on its good and bad aspects.

UCSF offers an excellent radiology elective. Dr. Goldberg was very adamant and a great advocate of the program. After his passing, the tradition continues. This is from firsthand knowledge. The bad aspects I don't know about but I only heard good things.

I don't have anything to add from a qualitative perspective. However, one of my classmates was trying to get an away there for 2008-2009, and she said they were already full. Take that for what it's worth. Even if I wanted to go there for residency, I doubt I'd get a second look, so I didn't investigate her claim.
