i am a single guy who is going to be starting pod school next year. I got into DMU, OCPM, Scholl, Temple, and CSPM and am not sure what i am leaning towards.

any single guys at any of these schools wanna pipe in and give me the low down on what the dating life is like in pod school? any hotties at these schools?

any recommendations as towards which school will have the most single women? from what i gathered DMU probably has the least.... everyone I met there seemed to be married or engaged or had a kid etc etc....

any good podiatry pick up lines?

Otherwise, the women in Iowa aren't much to look at...my wife likes it at least

This. I couldn't agree more. Must be something in the water.

First off, the women of your class will be your future colleagues. You will work with them and seek consultation from them. You will even grow to admire those who are dilligent in class and skillful in the clinic. So get in the habit of seeing them as more than lips, legs, boobs, and butt.

That being said:

Irrespective of where you go, women in your class are going to be pretty average looking. They'll be thin because they're health care professionals and staying fit is part of the job, but they're not special. You'll think they're hot, because they're the only ones you ever see day in and day out, but always remember in the back of your mind that greener pastures are out there, and it goes a long way with some women just having "Dr." in front of your name.

If you MUST date students at your university, choose one that has an associated DPT program. I have noticed that PT students are almost always female, and the majority are hot blondes. And by hot, I mean stunning. It's almost as if being gorgeous is part of the admissions standards. Furthermore, they chose PT because they wanted to do something in health care but with less years of education than a doctor so they'll have time for a family. So, they're marriage-minded, which is a plus or a minus depending on how you look at it. Thirdly, years in the future, when your patients are recovering from surgery, you can send them to your hot wife for physical therapy.

there are so many politically incorrect things here it is funny. Not that there is anything wrong with that...

I have to agree with Dtrack22...Barry should have been your number once choice if you were looking to score.

I'm a single guy at Scholl and I'm not going to lie there are some good looking women in the P1 class for sure. Just like DMU there are plenty of other programs here which have plenty of female students. I have to say that the PT girls are probably the hottest out of all the programs here at RFUMS. I'm holding out hope that the when the new pharmacy school opens next Fall that there will be even more good looking women strolling around here in North Chicago.

Lastly, if you have free time to get down to the city, there is PLETHORA of beautiful midwestern women in the city of Chicago. Hands down!!!

Someone sounds excited to start Neuroscience with the PT students on monday...

Actually, if I wanted to be politically incorrect, I would offer this advice:

If you must date within your class (and there are numerous reasons why that is a bad idea), you will be happier in the long run with the plain jane types. Beautiful pod students know that they are (1) beautiful, and the fact that they will be doctors means that they are (2) smart and will soon be (3) financially independent. Because of this, they think they can go around acting like their excretions don't stink. Some guys are willing to take crap from them, but I personally don't think it's worth the effort.

However, I stand by my previous assertion: the most beautiful woman in your class will pale in comparison to some of your alternatives.

EDIT: I'd like to add that as much as I don't care for stuck-up females, there are a ton of male DPMs out there who act like hot shots. Regardless of sex, arrogance is an unattractive quality in a podiatrist. Remember, you are literally at your patients' feet.
