My license is up for renewal, but Im not currently practicing. Is it bad to let it lapse and just renew it later? I saw on one website they view it as a revoked license if you do that, but Im not sure if that's true and I would rather save my money. I'm in california if that matters. Thanks!
 
It's not true. I let mine lapse several years ago and was recently asking how you get it renewed. It's literally like you didn't have it cause it's linked to location

Not a problem as long as you answer all questions on the license application completely and honestly and have no serious convictions.
