The Dermatology Institute of DuPage Medical Group will have one joint fellowship position with Loyola University School of Medicine in Maywood, IL available for a Clinical Research Fellow starting July 1, 2010. Our clinic, located at CityGate Centre in Naperville, IL is headed by dermatologists Dr. Ashish C. Bhatia, Dr. Jeffrey Te-Shao Hsu, and Dr. Rebecca Tung. Duties include working with the dermatologists in the areas of general and cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery, including Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer. The fellow will have the opportunity to conduct clinical research and is encouraged to present their research at national conferences. In addition, the fellow will compose manuscripts for journal publication, periodicals, and book chapters for publication. Moreover, the fellow will also conduct research under the direction of Dr. James Swan at Loyola University and actively participate in resident didactic sessions, including journal club, lecture series, grand rounds, and other academic activities. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited medical school and earned a medical degree. Additionally, they must have passed both USMLE Step 1 and 2. A stipend and benefits are provided.
