I did way back when.

I annotated FA more specifically for mechanisms and how things worked. Anki and the similar were more used for bruteforce memorizing factoids.

I barely opened FA bc Zanki was so good.

I may do a pass of first aid after finishing zanki just to make sure everything was covered. But nothing else is needed

This^ especially since so many Zanki cards have images from FA

I am because it helps with my retention, but I definitely don’t use FA like my bible. Of course I’m still a ways out from step so I will probably use it more as it gets closer.

I look over it along with lecture/zanki. If there's a concept that I know I'll struggle with later on, I try and put helpful stuff down for future me. A lot of M2s recommended that I start now (early M1) because as they're going through FA they wish they had annotated as they were learning.
