Hello studentdoctors and real doctors! So I'm wondering what the best way is to follow up with a program to 1) See about coming for a 2nd look interview and (more importantly) 2) Gauge their interest in me as an applicant (i.e. see where I rank). Is it a 'no-no' to ask straight out if they can give me an idea of where I stand? I did ask at a preliminary program and the doctor told me to email a specific person, and they would let me know.

Also, is it true that osteopathic students can 'pre-match' with allopathic residencies? Any info on that or the above would be greatly appreciated!!

If they want to offer a pre-match, they will before ROL are due. Don't seem desperate and ask for it.
