Hi Guys,

I am planning to apply for GI this year, so thought will start a new thread to share info about the process. How feasible is it to start a research project during residency? How important is it? any info will be appreciated.

Are you applying for 2009? You can apply to the programs thru ERAS on 11/15/07 for July 2009 positions... its kind of late to start a research project now for 2009.. but you can do research during your residency..
