Actually I did not have birthday cake for this birthday or the last. I would give you some if I did though 🙂

We went for cheesecake after sushi. At least, the others did. I had a sweet Australian Chardonnay. I keep coming back to the white lights!

Australian wines kick ass. 👍

If you like reds, I recommend the Trumpeter Malbec...not too expensive but excellent indeed.

But the sad part is ill need to wait till the weekend. And mine isnt a PhD defense yet..... :laugh: Once i get THAT done...ill probably party for a month!!!!

Well I drove from Ann Arbor to DC today. Just hangin' out with old friends tomorrow and then driving up to Boston on Tuesday. Spending a few days up there looking for a condo to buy. I got 100K to put down so they better show me some love.

P.S. dialup sucks donkey balls.

I am here. Busy discovering anew why I hated Teams.

I know what I'm doing this time. I have nice patients, nice residents, decent staff and nurses. And STILL the social work consults and talking to pharmacy and minute organization of countless issues and plans in descending order of importance pisses me off. 👎 👎
 
That takes me back...:laugh: I was thinking about medicine today when I realized that one year ago today I was on an ID elective and being sent on consults.

I was talking to the IM R1 today, and she said she had done nothing but CCU/Teams since before Christmas and was this close to burnout.

Friggin' self-flagellators.

You know you're on a busy rotation when all the women have short hair.
