Hey all,

Supposedly some programs provide you with hotel accommodations and/or pay for your flight as well for your interviews. Can we create a list of programs that do so here for Neuro? I will try to keep this post updated for the list from each response.

DO provide hotel accommodations:

Iowa
UTSouthwestern
URochester
Mayo
Vandy
Cleveland Clinic
Case Western
U Michigan
Wash U St. Louis
Oregon Health Sciences
UVirginia
UPittsburgh
Baylor
Univ of Alabama
Univ of Arkansas
Univ of Saint Louis
Emory
UFlorida
Kentucky
The University of Kansas
Penn State Hershey

Partial (they will pay if you have a roommate or 1/2 otherwise)
Johns Hopkins
Ohio State University (Discounted rate for hotel stay)

Do NOT provide hotel accommodations:

Beth Israel Deaconess-Harvard
UCSF
UCLA
Stanford
Duke (though perhaps this year they should since they had a rather less-than-stellar match this year as well as 2 years before)
Partners (I can't remember if they did nothing or perhaps offered 1/2...I think it was the former)
U Washington
Cornell
Rush
Univ of Chicago
Univ of Miami
UT Houston
Boston University
UNC
Wake Forest

To clarify a couple of the schools listed. UNC does NOT offer hotel accomodations and Emory does.

Other schools:
Wake Forest - no
UFlorida - yes
Kentucky - yes

The University of Kansas pays for hotel stay.
Ohio State University has a discounted rate for your hotel stay.

Penn State Hershey provides hotel accommodations.

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) does provide hotel accommodations.

Could someone who got an acommodation from U of Iowa, let me know how it was offered to you? Thanks.

do not:

umdnj-camden

Medical College of Georgia pays for hotel. I think U. of Mississippi does also.

Does anybody know is MSU/Sparrow provides hotel accommodations? Just got notice that there is a dinner the evening before.

I'm interviewing at Oregon Health Sciences and I didn't get an offer for a hotel room, so I don't think the room/flight deal still stands.
