Does anyone have any information on the Hunter College Post-bacc program in NYC? I've read all the other posts on this topic and I think there could be quite a few people are looking for answers, but not finding anything. There is no link on their school website and even having talked to the admissions people, no one knows much about it. Is this a formal program? How long does it take to complete? How is the advising? The other students? Is there an organized and supportive letter writing committee? Would you recommend the program? Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

i would also like to know...how much tuition for out of state and are dorms available??

you can look up their school website and find a number to call for info about their postbacc program.

I spoke with the pre-med advisor at Hunter and was not all that impressed. A number of students in my Kaplan class also went to Hunter and they have told me (for what it is worth) that the advising is pretty poor and the schedule is very rigid but it is a formal program.

This confirmed my initial impression. I am doing the post-bac at City College. You can fulfill all your requirements at either school for under $10000 and can qualify for financial aid if you register as a second degree. To the best of my knowledge, there are no dorms at Hunter (and definitely not at City). You can find reasonable housing though ($600)
