Hey Guys

As an International Medical Graduate but a US Citizen, what are the chances of success and what is necessary to match to any Radiology program.

Thanks

i'm in the same position, but i would hesitate to ask the question. reason being, the determinants are clear: boards, demonstration of work ethic and sincere interest in the field.

people, or PD's, it seems, just want people who are reliable, intelligent, eager, and willing to contribute. as nice as a "solo operation with benefits" seems, no one wants to hire or welcome someone who isn't willing to work.

you'd probably get more replies on your question if you posted your stats. but even then, i think people will tell you to apply broadly and see what turns up. you'll only know if you give it a shot.

i'm also hoping someone will comment on the IMG issue, but i feel like i've already heard the answer a dozen times.

best of luck, sincerely

Same position here. Good luck to you both.

some schools have good matches the last few years. A friend of mine from sgu is at brigham, i know saba places someone at yale recently. check the school websites for placements and good luck.
