You might also want to post what programs you are looking at. Quite often people will be a bit more forthcoming in a PM than they will on the board for the whole world to see.

Well, I'm sure that someone will start an Interviews 2006 thread. That would make it 3 or 4 years in a row. The problem with such threads is that this can cause some people to freak out.

OMG, he got an interview to Program X early on...but I didn't...hence I must suck donkey balls.

On the other hand, some people just don't even look. Is ignorance really bliss? Or would you rather have curiosity kill your pussycat?

Residencies interviewing fewer people this year?

What does fewer interviews mean for the job market?

What does it take to get an interview at top programs?

What does it take to match at top programs?

You can never circumvent it. There can be a thread titled "I just got an interview at Univ of Utah" and someone will post a thread entitled "Has anyone heard from Univ of Utah?"
