Hi, is anyone applying to Missouri? If so, have you written your personal statement yet? The statement is limited to approximately 200 words (thats nothing!). I just wrote out mine, trying to keep it short and coherent, but it's definitely not 200 words...anyone know if you can write MORE than 200 words, perhaps, 500 words? Please let me know...

BTW, How are you guys writing your personal statements? Are you writing it in a paragraph form, like answering question by question? or by an essay format? I'm writing it in the essay format...is that okay?

I am applying to Missouri also, but I did not know the statement was limited!!!😱 I have to cut down mostly all of my statement if only 200 words are allowed, because I'm almost at 800 words.

BTW, I am also going with essay format.

I don't know anything about Missouri, but I am writing my statements in essay format also. Of course, I'm answering all of the questions it wants too.

Futureopt12, did you complete the online app for UMSL? I am having trouble getting started because they have a page where you can logon, but they don't give you the option to create an account. Anyone know how to create an account?

I just got done with my application for missouri!! For the written statement it has to be 200 words or less!!
i had to call the school and also contact the tech support staff because the online application said the statement could be approximately 200 words. this is incorrect it has to be 200 words or less. in fact, it would only let me write 192...not sure why that is. hope that helps.
