Hi all!
I'm stuck in a bind. I'm currently classes through UCLA Extension to finish up my pre med reqs. I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics and Latin American Studies and completed some of the pre med classes as an undergrad. I am currently taking molecular biology and am not doing well in the class. I am debating over whether to drop the class and get a W on my transcript or try to ace the final exam and get a B in the class. (Currently I have a C and I would have to do really well on the final to barely scratch the surface to get a B). My undergrad overall science GPA is a 3.2 and cumulative GPA is 3.4. If I take the chance for the final exam and get a C, I know that my GPA will go down but at the same time I am wondering if that is better than having a W on my transcript. The doctors that I work with suggest its probably better to drop. My science grades range between B- to A. I don't know what to do & I'm really stressing out now. Please help!
