I would go so far as to propose a 10 year moratorium on IMGs entering path residencies. The logic is simple and unbiased: The U.S. government is shelling out a MASSIVE social security based subsidy for the training of foreign nationals which needs to be approved by Congress with proper legislative oversight.

Clearly this is a homeland security issue.

ironically, foriegn medical grad CURRENTLY ABP boarded would be the most to benefit from such a decision. Often they are locked into crap paying jobs and barred from taking their conracted vacation periods, some of the stuff Ive seen borders on being criminal abuse (and some just is abuse). If the job market improved, they would benefit far and away the most.

Yes, I was away... in the Rockies, saying goodbye! There is something about mountains that is both terrifying and comforting.

Hot tubs on the other hand, are just comforting 🙂 My pre-vacation vacation!
