Another vote for Crocs! Easy to clean, comfortable, and low cost to replace if necessary. Plus I don't have to touch them to put them on.
Three years ago I got these: Keen PTC Slip-On II. They're still going strong (just changed the insoles a couple times)

They're waterproof (and whatever-else you encounter in the OR-proof) and have good grip. They feel like wide relaxed shoes, not at all like awful clogs.
My first choice is European walking shoes in a dark color of course. My second choice is Hoka One One. I have not tried the Ultraboost but it looks like they knocked off the Hoka concept. Imitation is the finest form of flattery. 😉
I think Adidas Boost is from BASF and has nothing to do with Hoka.
