Hello~

I have an interview at Pacific coming up this Friday, October 12...
Is anyone else from the forum going to be there for this interview day too?
OR, does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for their interview process?
I have never been to Pacific and I don't really know what to expect...

Thanks for your advice!

Did they mention the firing squad and the blindfolds? 😀😉

You have a pretty busy day at the Interview Day, but it gives you a great chance to really get to know Pacific and how life would be like as a student. You might get to sit in on a class, and you'll have presentations from various people about financial aid, clinical programs, etc. You have lunch with faculty and current students, and a student panel where all the faculty and admissions staff leave and you can ask the questions that you might be nervous to otherwise. Your tour and interview will be in the afternoon. The day concludes with a dessert reception where you can mingle with the other applicants, current students, and faculty while enjoying coffee and brownies!

The day can be long, but it gives you great perspective into Pacific. The interview is very conversational, and in my opinion far less intimidating than my interview at ICO. (Other people have felt the opposite, so take that with a grain of salt.)

Best of luck!!!

Hi! I'll actually be out there for the same interview day with you! I've heard that it's a really long day from lots of people, so I guess it will be nice to have company! I was told there would be 20 of us for the first day. Are you going to the GWCO the next day? I'm sticking around for it. Hopefully it will be worth the cost of sticking around Oregon for another day. I'm getting pumped about the trip, I'm coming from Tennessee, so I'll be heading that direction in 2 days. Woohoo!

GWCO is definitely worth sticking around for. The program that Dr. Eakland has put together for us is awesome. I believe the AOA president will be there to speak to us (you guys too!) and there a few other good speakers and interesting topics. The exhibition hall is neat as well.
