When you're reapplying to a school you've already interviewed at your first time, does anyone any know whether it's a must to get interviewed again if they've already seen you?

Well, I wasn't completely rejected from PCO. They just told me they can't make a decision yet until I retake the OAT. The only problem is, I won't be able to retake it till June and by then, class will probably be already full, so my chances are low there. My OATs were the only drawback. I got a lousy score since I didn't get a chance to study for them (i'm graduating a year early so dealing with heavy load). My gpa is around a 3.5 with a b.s. in biology. I've been shadowing and optometrist weekly with a lot of extracurrics. on the side.. so ya...those oats are only thing holding me back... butttt... ico and neco still invited me for an interview this month (even after they saw my sucky score) sooo ... my hopes are still up.

i think they will have to re-interview you again. i mean just because they've seen you already doesn't mean they'll skip that step, you know? they may want to talk to you to find out what's changed or what's new with you...doesn't give you any "special" privileges just b/c you've already been interviewed. 🙂

ya, that's what i was thinking, but in my case, I think it's just the OAT scores they want to see an improvement, it would be a waste of money just to come back again to have the same people see me again when all they want to see is score improvement

if you mean for the entering class for 2007, then you wont have to travel to interview again if you have already interviewed there this same cycle. They probably think you are a good applicant, but your OAT scores are just too low, and with decent scores would admit you. But I agree, that if you are retaking them in June, it is probably much too late for this cycle. If you are to reapply; however, for the 2008 cycle you will have to fly back to interview.
