How long, on average, did you work per work during your radiology residency? Did it vary by year? Were there any rotations (ie, IR) where you came close to the 80 hour limit?

No one comes close to breaking the 80 hour limit.
45-55 per week on average. IR is an exception at my institution as residents will take overnight call every 3rd night as well as around 60 hour call on weekends. Definitely broke 80 hours on IR, but its supposed to be averaged over 4 weeks so never really counts as a violation.
Do academic attendings work less or more hours than the residents on average (excluding IR)?
