anyone know why this santa barbara cottage's prelim program is often spouted to be "the best in the country"? i looked at the website, but it doesn't really hint at being anything particularly special. anyone have some insight? thanks!
 
I think people generally speak highly of this program because of its ideal location (santa barbara is gorgeous and warm), great ancillary support, friendly faculty, beautiful hospital, and reasonable volume(perceived cushness).

That's a tough combination to find in an internship. I think you will learn as much in other places as you would in SB, but the intangibles are hard to beat at Cottage.
