As the previous posted said, your internship is hell. Not only do you see a ****load of patients, but you literally DO EVERYTHING. By everything, I mean everything from H&P, to drawing the blood to fricken running the blood to the lab. I kid you not. It is MUCH cheaper to higher an intern than a nurse or a tech for that matter. Kiss sleep goodbye.
Residency call is hellacious from what I've been told. You can read anywhere from 60-100 CTs a night, which as a resident, is pretty inhuman. This is on-top of a ****load of plain films. Did I mention you have to scan all the US studies yourself? Expect to want to commit suicide each postcall.
Later years include the usual gambit of rotations. I have a feeling they focus more on bread-and-butter stuff like CT and plain films, versus more MR. I could be wrong.
All my knowledge is second hand of course since I don't go there. I do, however, have a good friend there. Also as stated previously, there is a NEW rad group in charge this year, so things are changing - probably for the better as I doubt it is possible to be worst.
In the end you get to be a radiologist and thats the important part. Residents there do well on their boards and match nice fellowships. If you have the mentality that you will be ****ted on a lot, then you'll be fine.
