uic away rotation

hey everyone,
i'm a third year considering doing an away at uic, mainly because i have a friend who goes to school there so it'd be pretty feasible to set up. just wondering if any of you guys have done an away there...i'd love to hear your two cents on just about anything (i.e quality of learning, friendliness of faculty, etc). thanks in advance!

Met a number of UIC people on the interview trail this year. Apparently they didn't even give all of their own students courtesy invites this year...so I wouldn't count on a guaranteed interview if you do decide to rotate there.
