I have an upcoming interview at UIC....could someone tell me how the interview process is. Also, I am missing a a pre-requisite, and I can't take it during the summer since they don't take summer classes...Would that really matter, would they accept me if I'm missing that class? Did anyone get into UIC without completing their pre-requisites

Highly doubt any school will accept you if you're lacking a pre-req and have not shown legitimate proof that you will be enrolled and passing the course by the time pharmacy school begins in the fall.

That said, might as well go to dental school.

Especially with the number of pharmacy school applicants, there would have to be really extenuating circumcumstances for them to accept someone who is not on track to complete their prerequisities over someone else who has...almost impossible, I would say.

I'm surprised they are even giving you an interview without at least being enrolled in your prerequisites. I supposed anything is possible, but I can't see them admitting you without a prerequisite....for the same reason one has to take Organic Chemistry 1 before they can enroll in Organic Chemistry 2.

Would they accept a CLEP or AP test score? That is probably going to be your best bet to get accepted, if you can study on your own and get the credit via CLEP/AP.

The class I didn't take is biochemistry...I didn't take it because I thought that I would never get anything back from UIC, but I'm just gonna see how the interview goes and hope for the best
