Looking for anyone's opinion (be it a current/recent former resident) or acute pain and regional fellow (past or present) who can speak openly about how they feel the acute pain/ regional experience is here. Trying to decide on applying to this fellowship! Thank you

Had an attending from there who said residents were sort of lazy at that program.

There are better programs in that general region you’d be better off at

I don’t know personally, but Id imagine Cedars would probably give you what you would want from a regional fellowship. They’re a large volume place with definitely enough outpatient ortho to get blocks in. I don’t know how the surgeons are though, that can always be a wild card. If you go to a place where surgeons have too much power, then they will to an extent dictate what you do

If you want to do a fellowship in LA, it would behoove you to do it at UCLA.
