Hey guys, 3rd year MD student here... just taking a peek around. I've heard a lot about popping pimples, Botox injections, and cosmetic dermatology, but what about medical dermatology? What does a medical dermatologist see/do? Are most in private practice? What do these doctors tend to enjoy? Thanks!
 
There are over 1500 medical conditions that involve the skin, either as a primary disorder or a manifestation of an internal process. Dermatology is the study and management of these diseases.
