Suppose someone has a foreclosure on the credit history, couldn't pay the mortgage due to bad luck or divorce or job loss, etc. during med school, will this come back to haunt him when he applies for residency and or job searching when coming out of residency?

how big a deal is good credit when physicians look for a job in general?

Find out if this will stay on your credit history forever; some things do not (even bankruptcy does not remain there forever).

It seems that this should have no bearing on your application; ask your premed advisor. Also, if you can make a good story out of it in your personal statement and give it a strong positive twist, it may actually get you in🙂
