I already scratched this off my ROADs list for this reason (red-green here), I would be curious to know also...
 
I'm not sure. The pathology end would be a pain in the butt though. You should contact your derm PD and ask, or go to the derm board at ezboard and ask.

There's no requirement for certification of color vision to get boarded in either Derm og Path. However, according to this article, Derm and Pathology are two areas which are unsuited for physicians with a color vision deficiency.

Are there any specialties in which being color blind would rule out being board certified? Maybe radiology?
 
I've never heard of any specialty that have specific health-issue requirements for board certification. In fact, there's examples of people getting an MD degree who were clinically blind, and there's quite a few stories of surgeons past their prime with serious hand tremors...
