Florida Program

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I interviewed at this program a few years ago. Quickly, it is a huge county hospital program which depends a lot on resident work. That being said, all the residents were happy there and the quality of the teaching seemed to be pretty good. Dr. Henry (I think that was his name) was the program director and he seemed to be really friendly as well as interested in the well being of the residents.

I don't remember that much more, but the program left me very favorably impressed.

Bump for more information.

Not from florida, but I've heard from florida med students that this program is malignant. I know that word gets overused, but just wanted to know if there's any truth to it.

Considering ranking this program in my top 5 mostly due to location.

Probably considered the 4th best program in Florida...maybe 5th. This is from people I know who interviewed in Florida/SE. I don't have any specific details though.

UF- Gaines > Mayo-Jax > USF > Miami-Jackson = Florida Hospital Orlando > UF-Jax
