Let's get one of these rolling. Anyone here have any yet? My friend tells me someone he's rotating with already has 2 for rads.

Based on last year interviews didn't get sent out until 2 or so weeks after applications were received.

Last year (and historically) UT-H and Knoxville were in the first week.
 
keep in mind that this is the first year with the two week gap between eras and mspe so things could change slightly
 
So it is basically the calm before the storm now.

EDIT: On AuntMinnie, one guy got an interview at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners/Michigan State University. So the ice is broken.

Have interview dates for radiology ever been as early as the beginning of October? Because I just got one but am not sure whether it was sent in error...especially with the short notice and the fact that the dean's letters would be released around my supposed interview date...

Good for you. Schedule it ASAP. Forget about figuring out why. Many programs send out interview invites prior to MSPE's being sent out. Out of curiosity, which program?
 
PM'd you. Not sure if it is real yet because I thought interview season began at mid-late October at the earliest, and my application isn't even complete yet (only 2 LORs in)...but of course I'll just take it at face value for now.

Apologies for not saying the name out here, but I'd prefer to remain as anonymous as possible.

Did you schedule this interview? I'm sure you're not the only person who got an invite so I'm not sure how anonymity plays into this.
 
Interviews? I just want some programs to download my app...a couple haven't yet, which is really odd (Chicago schools).
 
For those who have had some invites for Prelim year programs come in already, are you guys waiting to hear from radiology programs before scheduling prelim year interviews?

It seems like a lot of programs sent out invites in November last year. I wonder if there will be more in October since the deans letter comes out a month earlier.
 
Got 2 interviews this afternoon from good northeast programs. Booyah! It seems like they're getting an early jump on the interview season this year.

My guess is it's going to be a really good year for rads applicants.

FL Hospital - Orlando sent out some invites in the last 30 minutes or so...haven't been able to contact them via phone to schedule an interview.

I attributed the Florida hospital response to it just being late on a Friday when the invites went out. Everyone is so nice there and I've always had quick replies in the past, so I am left to assume it is the normal Friday hospital routine. The PC seems to manage more moving parts than humanly possible....at least for a step-by-step thinker such as myself.

I did an away there, I am assuming that is why I got an early invite.
 
How do you tell if a program has downloaded your application?
 
cbtk18, look at ADTS in the top right of your ERAS homepage. A list of programs will be displayed showing whether they have downloaded the various documents that compose your application.

anyone have an opinion on how to handle this? i've been wondering the same thing.. i scheduled my prelim interviews as i got them but obviously it would be much easier to travel once and have the prelim & rads interviews back to back. is there any good way to go about this?
