PLGA or Polymorphous Low Grade Adenocarcinomas of the minor salivary glands are like positive for every immunohistochemical marker! How can this be? What the hell kind of crazy tumor is this??

What the hell...Positive for Pankeratin, GFAP (!), S100 (!!), bcl-2 (?!) AND actin!

Did everyone else already know this? Damn I need to read more.

Ok, no more free advice for joos!

First off everyone knows a med student can only charge as much as a beginning barista at Starbucks, which is still a hefty 9-10 bucks an hour. Secondly, everyone also knows a med student basically knows nothing, so the payment would only be for manual labor anyway.

Accutane (or isotretinoin, now available generic) has some weird dispensing protocols now, with prescribers having to screen for a bunch of stuff, including contraceptive use. Personally, I think they ought to give them Depo-Provera in the office. Women of reproductive age on Retin-A (tretinoin) are supposed to be given BC as well. I think many of them fail to comply though. I ought to start emphasizing the cosmetic benefits of combined contraceptives with these patients. We don't have alot of patients on tretinoin at my store.
 
FFS. So I went to get some soda and licorice downstairs and the red vines got stuck on the damn hook thing, so I had to go to my car get more change and buy 2 packs of red vines. Then after I had my red vines the police lept around the corner and refused to believe Im a doctor in my own hospital! Yeah Im wearing a wife beater and my PJs bottoms at the moment, but GDamnit I demand respect!! So they followed me up to my office and had me bust out my ID...what the hell is this world comin to I say.

I have a little dilemma. I have made many contacts though my local hospital from shadowing/volunteering. A few days ago, the Vice president of human resources offered me a job as an orderly. It sounded like a good idea at first, until I actually heard about some of the things that those guys have to do like: Wiping A$$ES, giving old men sponge baths (what if they get an erection?)--GROSS!!!!! That being said, I’ve heard a lot of premeds are applying for this kind of job.

I’m a little confused. I do feel very strongly about volunteer work, but does the fact that I think I would puke if I had to wipe an old man’s A$$ have any reflection on myself as a premed? I really think that a job in healthcare could boost my chances of getting in to med school a little. It’s just the nature of the work that makes me think twice about it. I know doctors have to deal with juicy aliments from time to time. However, they get paid a lot more than $7.00 bucks an hour too. What do you guys think? Would you do it? If it will significantly help me out in the admission process, then I will do it regardless of the consequences.

i think that regardless of whatever intervention is done, this thread will continue to be worthless and weak.

this is why all undergrads should strive for 4.0 GPA and 40 MCATs. that way, they won't have to feel the obligation to do these stupid activities that they wouldn't do in the first place in their right minds.

I emailed Fletcher and did mention you have a strong compulsion to occasionally chow down on the ole logs once and awhile. He didnt seem suprised oddly, guess thats pretty common at Harvard. :laugh:

But dude on a serious note, you may have to fight the BID residents for your fair share of crap. They love the stuff.
