UWorld alongside classes M2?

Smart to use UWORLD as a learning tool alongside classes M2 (i.e annotating first aid, etc) and then do a second pass of it on random during dedicated?

From what I've read, UW is such a great resource, that going through the questions once and the possibility of remembering the answers is a waste. There's plenty of question banks if that's what you're looking for.

It's a split depending on who you ask. Plenty of high scorers at my school saved it for the dedicated or after Dec...there are people that started using it at beginning of M2 as well.

I think it depends on how you learn. If you learn mainly from qbanks then I'd start doing them now and annotate. If you primarily learn from lectures and other resources, saving uWorld til at least Dec allows you to use it as an actual step 1 practice to identify weak areas.

I think I learn better from Qbanks, which is why I was debating on starting it along with my classes. I bought the 12 month subscription so I have the option.

My tentative plan was to use it as a learning tool alongside class and annotate FA with it. Then when I get to dedicated put it on random timer.

Nervous though since I have heard many people save it for dedicated. I want to be able to get 2 passes of it

I've heard from upperclassmen to use the Kaplan or Rx Qbanks alongside M2 classes and save UWorld for like a month or so before dedicated or even leave it until dedicated. If you bought the 12 month subscription, you can try it out with your classes and see what you think?
