Just curious what everyone changed in their application between cycles to improve their application. Test scores, activities, letter of rec, took more courses for GPA etc.
Yep. It's that simple. It seemed the general plan was to work on the weakest part of the application(MCAT retake, gpa repair, missing clinical/volunteering experience) while staying somewhat involved in volunteering and clinical activity.
It really means you have to first analyze what needs and can be improved and then take those steps. It depends on your qualifications, strengths and weaknesses. Then work on the weaknesses. Also, make sure your presentation of those qualifications via your primary and secondary applications is effective. Show growth, change, maturation in your application.Just curious what everyone changed in their application between cycles to improve their appliit really cation. Can you move to a different state than CA? 🙂 Just kidding.....All the earlier advice is great, nothing else to add from my side. I have heard that CA has the highest re-applicant percentage among all states but the highest success rate among re-applicants. This should give you encouragement and hope.Just curious what everyone changed in their application between cycles to improve their application.
